Work package 8.3 and deliverables

The objective of this workpackage will be to investigate available Open Source Business models and Open Source Licences and select the appropriate ones for the SERENITY offering so as to formulate the SERENITY Open Source Strategy.

Deliverables :

• A8.D3.1 - Report on available Open Source approaches [report] [public] (due january 2007)
  

This deliverable will present available Open Source Business Models, licensing schemes and payback mechanisms.

• A8.D3.2 - SERENITY Open Source Strategy [report] [public] (due mid 2007)
  

This deliverable will describe the Open Source Business model for the SERENITY results, the Open Source Licenses that will be applied to the SERENITY software and documentation as well as the relevant pay-back mechanisms.
