 SERENITY results showcased at ICT 2008 LyonOn November 25-27, SERENITY’s Smart Items scenario is demoed through the case “Securing Smart Homes”.
Announced as the “Europe’s biggest research event for information and communication technologies”, ICT 2008* expects over 4000 visitors from 25th to 27th of November. SERENITY takes part in this event by demonstrating how SERENITY Patterns enforce security in remote healthcare systems. In this Smart Item Scenario called “Securing Smart Homes”, SAP Research showcases in particular the Access Control S&D Pattern. The Ambient Intelligence prototype used for the demo involves health monitoring and emergency services as well as protection of sensitive data. The Smart Items stand has been located in the “ICT for wellbeing” zone, one of the seven main theme of ICT 2008.
