Its expertise allows it to provide excellent results in the SERENITY’s horizontal activities which focus on the business process and workflow layer, and is appropriately complemented by expertise on security and trust, with a special focus on organization structures. The project will significantly benefit from cross-program expertise and knowledge. UNITN will play a leading role in the Focus Activity Business and Organization providing its key expertise in methodologies for modelling organizations and security properties. It will also contribute to the dissemination activities with its wide network of collaboration in Asia, promoting the technology transfer activity beyond Europe.
UNITN will be responsible for the organization of a PHD Summer School to present the research results in collaboration with the other academic partners. The research results will also be used to develop new courses and possibly an MEng programme in Security Engineering. Additional dissemination and exploitation activities will be carried out within the framework of the newly approved Centre for Italian & Indian collaboration where a number of dissemination activities could be planned. The Technological transfer will be carried over in collaboration with the local Instituto per la Ricerca Scientifica e Tecnologica ITC/IRST with which UNITN enjoys long term collaboration on technology transfer projects in the framework of the Fondo Unico budget for the Province of Trento. These projects have often led to new spin-offs : in particular UNITN is often ICT consultant for companies and projects related to e-Governement, e-Banking and general industrial projects (INTEl1. is one of out contractors). The results of the project should bring an important added value to UNITN consultancy services and tools and solutions developed within the project will.
