The organisation will focus on the Organisation & Business Activity and Network and Devices Activity. As for A1, it will concentrate on the identification and specification of privacy requirements and privacy patterns specification. In A3, it will focus on identification and specification of security requirements and on security patterns for services and protocols. SETCCE is also involved in the integration of specified privacy and security patterns, specification of usability and acceptance requirements, and dissemination activities. Moreover, SETCCE will bring to the project, its knowledge and results on security and privacy issues in pervasive systems and services.
SETCCE is one of the leading Slovenian research and development organizations and technology providers in the field of information security and e-business. As such, its participation in Serenity will strengthen its position in the field of security and privacy solutions for pervasive systems. Research results will also be disseminated to industry and academic environment through workshops, seminars and conferences and included in the postgraduate studies at the University of Ljubljana und University of Maribor, where SETCCE members are involved in the educational process.
